Teachers' Retirement System (TRS) and Teachers' Defined Contribution System (TDC) members will have an opportunity to attend a CPRB sponsored Retirement Planning Seminar in September at one of seven locations throughout West Virginia. Our TRS staff will provide an overview of defined benefit plan provisions, explain benefit options, clarify retirement eligibility and answer individual questions of members. In addition, a representative from Great West Retirement Services will be in attendance to provide TDC members with tools for managing their accounts as well as an overview of defined contribution plan features, including investment option choices, vesting provisions, rollovers and qualifying distributions.
