Programmer Analyst 2
The Programmer Analyst 2 will play a key role in building, coding, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft-based applications primarily in VB, C#, and XML. You will be expected to coordinate with Business Leads and the development team to address code-related defects and enhancements. As a key player in systems refactoring efforts, your duties will include:
- Coding, testing, and debugging Line of Business Applications.
- Meeting with system end users to discuss changes or improvements to software applications.
- Developing specialized, business-level knowledge of internal processes to support existing and new software.
- Maintaining existing software applications and providing onsite user support as needed.
Experience & Skills
- 1-2 years of experience with .NET, C#, VB.NET, and SQL Server.
- Ability to work effectively both as a team member and independently.
- Ability to work under pressure with professionalism and high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude with prior programming exposure.
Education
Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation & Requirements
- Salary Range: $48,098 – $84,558 per year (Pay is commensurate with skill).
- Grade 19: $45,042 – $83,326; Market: $73,417.
- Classified exempt position.
